GIANT NESTS/ WATERFRONT PROPERTY
Several large nests (approx 6' diameter), constructed from beach grasses and beach debris were built and set into deep holes on an empty evening beach along Lake Michigan. They were left for morning beach-goers to discover. Playing with notions of Man vs Nature and Nature vs Nurture, I seek, gather, converge, and rearrange the organic and man-made objects which have been cast off by natural processes or discarded by humans within nature. Only the organic items are left behind as an ephemeral installation, offering, and experience.
